We have visited this Park numerous times and always enjoy our time here. We've followed a lot of the trails that lead off the main path and found some amazing views.
The main path around Ogden Water is reasonably solid underfoot, although some areas are a little muddy. Lots of nice views over the water and wildlife everywhere. Unfortunately some irresponsible dog owners need to be hung drawn and quartered! More patrols by the council are desperately needed to catch these disgusting people red-handed.
Parking can be an issue. A small lower carpark near the gates entrance and a slightly larger one up the hill.
Parking is £1 through the use of an honesty box outside the visitors shop. I've never witnessed anyone putting money in there if I'm honest.
It's definitely worth a visit, just watch the floor for dog muck.

Excellent place for a walk, lots of parking, loads of routes all around the reservoir. You can simply do a circular of the reservoir, divert into the woods, or walk all the way up to the wind turbines on the hilltops. Thoroughly enjoy walks here worth my family.

Beautiful walk around the lake, liked that there was a Christmas tree hedge, also the metal photo screen to take a framed shot of the lake. Quiet but I would imagine it gets much busier in the summer. If you walk up the steps to the upper car parking area the view is great too. There are loads of other walks that we haven't explored yet and we are looking forward to a return visit soon.

Great walk, with wonderful views! a nice visitor center. Very friendly couple running it who made us a lovely cup of coffee. Only £1 to park. Fantastic.

Since finding this lovely spot set in acres of astounding nature myself and my chocolate Labrador have been visiting daily and we both love being able to be in a pieceful and beautiful area while getting in some exercise.

Lovely country side walk with good wardens.
Through the summer the water was very low . But now it’s full and very scenic Forrest .
Lots of different wild life and, fauna . Only down side sometimes it’s like walking over land mines ( dog poo ) left by their over generous inconsiderate owners .
